Pursuant to Georgia Real Estate Commission (GREC) regulations and in compliance with Rule 520-2-.15, The Real Estate Academy of Excellence strictly prohibits any form of recruiting or solicitation of students for employment opportunities within real estate firms, brokerages, or any related businesses during instructional activities.
1. Definition of Recruiting
Recruiting is defined as any attempt to solicit, advertise, or encourage students to affiliate with a specific brokerage, firm, or organization for employment or sponsorship purposes. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Direct or indirect recruitment efforts made during class sessions or through school-provided communication channels.
- Distribution of promotional materials related to brokerages or real estate firms.
- Any form of discussion or presentation that promotes a specific brokerage, company, or employer with the intent of influencing students’ professional choices.
2. Prohibited Activities
The following activities are strictly prohibited within all course environments, including but not limited to in-person and online learning platforms:
- Instructors, guest speakers, or school representatives mentioning or promoting specific brokerages for employment purposes.
- Sharing of business cards, promotional flyers, or company-branded materials.
- Sending recruitment-related emails, messages, or advertisements via school communication channels.
- Holding any recruitment events or informational sessions on school premises or during school-sponsored activities.
- Soliciting students for interviews, sponsorships, or employment discussions in any manner.
3. Enforcement and Reporting
- Any violation of this policy by instructors, staff, or guest speakers may result in disciplinary actions, including termination of instructional duties and potential reporting to GREC.
- Students who experience or witness recruitment attempts should report the incident to school administration immediately via [Insert Reporting Method].
- Any individual found violating this policy will receive a formal warning, and repeated offenses may result in suspension or permanent dismissal from school activities.
4. Acknowledgment and Compliance
- All instructors, guest speakers, and administrative personnel must acknowledge this policy in writing prior to engaging with students.
- Students will be made aware of this policy at the beginning of each course and will have access to a copy in the school’s student handbook or learning portal.
